How to move to a different drive or partition?

How to move to a different drive or partition?

pI am relatively new to Unix... or at least doing anything beyond 'ls '/p
pI need to get to a partion that is larger than where I am at to import a
project that won't fit where I am currently. Also I am running Linux on a
